This past Wednesday I photographed a marketing mixer for The Knot. A collaboration of creative professionals came together under one beautifully designed roof to chat about the wedding industry in Pittsburgh. The event was designed by the talented Shayne Souleret. She turned the Pittsburgh Opera House into a glowing red room with hints of Pittsburgh for us creatives to chat all things wedding.
I personally enjoyed meeting some people that before this event I only knew through Facebook profiles and webpages. Putting faces with amazing work was really awesome to see. When you look at someone’s profile you get a preconceived notion of what that person will be like. Hugs, handshakes, and conversation let me see the people behind all these great businesses. A big thank you to everyone who stopped me while shooting to say hello. I can’t tell you how much it meant to chat with all of you!
