One of the reasons I chose to shoot weddings rather than any other type of photography is simple: They are fun. Scratch that….they are an absolute blast. Even when I’m working weddings I have a great time. It’s hard not to. So when I am attending a wedding of a friend the fun level becomes even more amplified.  Especially when I get to see friends that have come into town from around the country. Now of course it’s too difficult for me to act like a normal guest and not have a camera with me. It was fun to take photographs from a guest’s perspective during the actual wedding. Much more relaxing that way.

Jess  & Adam have been together the longest amongst all of our friends. High school sweethearts slowly grew into a loving relationship that was bound to last a lifetime. They didn’t need to say their ‘I dos’ to know that they were committed to each other forever. They knew that a long time before their wedding. I cannot think of a couple that compliments each other better. Jess has the effervescent personality and doesn’t mind being in the spotlight. She proved that at the reception when she threw it down by rapping ‘Ice Ice Baby.’ Jess you rock and I love you for it! Adam is a bit more reserved then his wife. He embodies what it means to be a good man and loving husband, which his best man pointed out in one of the best speeches I have heard all year. The night was perfect. Perfect setting, surrounded by loving family and friends. Jess even found out she passed the bar and would officially become a lawyer! Talk about a great wedding gift.

I am thankful that I was there to be a part of your day full of abounding love. I can’t wait to see the success the two of you have in the future and am so excited you are official residents of the great city of Pittsburgh!

Disclaimer: My friends are weirdos just like me. Also, Tom managed to be in just as many pictures as Jess…. as he always does.
