GETTIN’ IT DONE

In a time where picking up a new hobby seems to be over and done with in a day, I find myself appreciating the people that see things through more and more. Whether it is a minuscule task of cooking dinner from a torn out recipe of a fancy food magazine or something as large as graduating college I admire their perseverance and hope that I can use that same fortitude as I create and check off the things on my own personal to-do list. That’s why I would like to say congratulations to my brother and Abbey for setting out with goals in mind and surpassing them. Abbey beat her time in the half marathon that she wanted. I call her the Flash now like the suphero. Ok….. I don’t, but that would be pretty cool. She wants me to run next year and I already feel a bit feint at the thought. I’ll suck it up and run anyhow because I made a promise that I am sticking to. Abbey is probably going to kill me for putting up such a goofy picture of her, but it’s the only one I got. She saw me at the last second and when she tried to high-five I pulled up my camera which equaled the most awkward picture I could have taken. A riveting photography by yours truly. Congrats to Brandon for graduating college with all sorts of extra hardware. That’s a big achievement bud and I know all of us are proud of you and what you will be diving into next. Perseverance is a word that too many assimilate with grandparents, but I think there is plenty of room for it in the younger generation. Congratulations guys! Can’t wait to see what you cross off the list next!
