I wanted to start off this post with an image of both Mike and Angela before their wedding ceremony. Go ahead and scroll down a bit so that you can see their glowing faces. Look at those smiles. There aren’t many words that can properly describe the excitement they shared to start the rest of their lives together. Those expressions did not leave their faces all day. I would bet they will wear them throughout the entirety of their marriage.
There are genuine people and then there are GENUINE people. Angela is part of that latter group. As soon as I met Angela it was clear that she was someone that loved and cared for everyone around her. She constantly wore a smile on her face and made sure everyone else was doing the same. It was HER wedding day but she was making sure everyone else was ok. What a sweetheart. Angela and Mike were married in a simple and elegant white chapel. No distractions. The focus was on them and their love for each other. As I was photographing the ceremony I couldn’t think of anything more appropriate. As the afternoon light filled the chapel and reflected off the white walls it illuminated Angela and Mike on the alter as they promised vows to each other. Family and friends packed in the small church filling it to the brim. There wasn’t one seat left in the house.
After the ceremony we took portraits in the park before heading to the baseball field. Angela and Mike both have a a deep love for the sport and wanted to take some images with their bridal party at the local field. Soon after we headed to the reception hall where Angela’s brother sang his own version of The Beatles for their first dance. The wedding was intimate and personal from beginning to end and everyone there felt included in their special day, including myself. Angela and Mike, I loved every minute of seeing how you care for each other. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the opportunity to capture your love and the moment you said I Do.
