As a wedding photographer, I am definitely comfortable behind my camera and one of the biggest challenges is making people feel just as comfortable in front of it. I got a taste of my own medicine during the making of my promotional video, and I realized I am 1000x happy in my place is behind the lens. Regardless of how weird I felt in front of the camera, and how awkward it was to see and hear myself , I am more than happy with the end result. Greg did a great job of capturing who I really am and what a day with me might entail (even if I’m not always wearing Wellies.) I truly love what I do and I believe this video is a way for me to communicate my background, philosophy, and love for weddings and photography. Enjoy it, or at least enjoy the thought of me being nervous in front of a camera as I subject people to it on a daily basis.
