The sun was beginning its descent, a gentle breeze pervaded the thick summer air, and massive oak trees overlooked the people milling around waiting for something amazing to happen. And then it did; Dave, dressed to the nines in a tuxedo and dress shoes, teed off and commenced his wedding reception at Oakmont Country Club with a perfect drive that landed effortlessly on the picturesque fairway. I have to reiterate that he did this in front of 200 people…in a suit and jacket… seriously impressive. Okay, so Melissa and Dave getting married was pretty amazing too and I cannot say enough good things about their day…but of course I will anyways.
One of my favorite parts of any wedding is the people involved. I truly believe that the couple sets the tone for the day, and this was obvious when it came to Melissa and Dave. From the beginning, Melissa embraced Abbey and I like old friends and made us feel comfortable, which was great because we pretty much spent every minute of the day with her.  I love that Melissa and Dave’s guests had a great time together and merged until there was no distinction between family and friends, just one group of people celebrating two amazing people. These two deserved a spectacular wedding and they certainly got it! Hope you two are enjoying this post on your honeymoon 🙂
Ryan & Abbey ~ You are simply amazing! I LOVE all of these pictures and can’t wait to see more! Melissa and Dave are so lucky to have had you at their wedding…you were so great! Loved spending the day with you both! Wish we could do it all over again!
