KAYLA & HUNT | BALTIMORE MUSEUM OF INDUSTRY | INNER HARBOR

I love exploring new places and going along with whatever adventures might arise. It’s this mindset that encouraged me to pursue a career in photography and start my own business, and it is also this mindset that allows me to embrace unique moments at each and every wedding. My passion for photography and adventure really stemmed from a trip to Europe a few years back where I immersed myself in different cultures and met some great people. I was especially excited to shoot Kayla and Hunt’s wedding in Baltimore because Kayla was one of the people on that trip that ended up being a turning point in my life where I started thinking about photography as a profession. It was awesome seeing her again, recalling stories, and meeting Hunt for the first time. I knew that this wedding was going to be special from the moment she asked me to shoot it. It exceeded everything I thought it possibly could be, and couldn’t be more happy for this awesome couple.

Everything about Kayla and Hunt’s Baltimore wedding was amazing. Their ceremony and reception took place at the Museum of Industry, which is located on the Inner Harbor. It was an intimate, personal ceremony with friends and family facing out towards the water as Kayla and Hunt exchanged there own vows on a dock with the last glimmer of sunshine setting over the harbor. The smell of saltwater, the gentle breeze on a perfect summer night, and the sound of waves slightly rocking the dock back and forth made this ceremony one to remember. Their choice of ring bearers were simply perfect: two hilarious little boys in bow ties holding the leash of a bulldog named Dennis. I dare you to look at the images of Dennis and the boys walking down the aisle and not smile or laugh; it really is impossible.

The reception inside of the museum was just as memorable. I mean how many times do you get to dance surrounded by hundreds of years of unique Baltimore history on every wall? Kayla and Hunt are two cool, laid back people who love to have a good time, and their friends and family followed suit all night long. Guests of all ages had a blast exchanging moves on the dance floor and catching up over cocktails outside by the water. Thank you for allowing me to capture your special day Kayla and Hunt (and Dennis too).  It was absolutely perfect.
