It’s crazy to think that Rachel and Joe were the first engagement session featured on my new blog last year. They were the perfect couple to demonstrate my philosophy when it comes to photography and my goal to become friends with my clients. Trust me, when I say we hung out during their engagement session I think we did twice as much during the actual wedding. To me that’s what it is all about. Making people feel comfortable in front of the camera so they can be themselves – something Rachel and Joe did extremely well at their Pittsburgh Wedding.

The day was beyond humid and threatened rain at any moment, but Rachel and Joe weren’t stressed about the weather, or the guests, or the ceremony….they were just excited to finally be husband and wife. That point was made even clearer with some of their smiles I captured on camera. They literally could not get any bigger. And what is better than newly weds smiling their butts off? Not to much in my book. I am so happy that I got to spend the day with these two, and am beyond excited for their future together.
