One of the hardest tasks for me in my business is to take a break. Taking a step back and relaxing for an entire day is something that is really tough for me sometimes. I enjoy what I do so much that drawing a line in the sand between business and hobby seems to be washing away with the tide. In the midst of the fog of editing sometimes I find myself thinking, “Hey Ryan, you haven’t had a day off in 3 weeks. Stop being so lame and get out and do something.” When this happens I always enjoy going to the lake for kayaking, swimming, or reading. All of which are made better with a cold microbrew in hand and friends to help coach you on the techniques of turning your kayak into a paddle board.
