Danielle and Edward’s engagement session at Overlook Park on Mt Washington had pretty much everything a photographer could possibly want: a great location with colorful fall leaves covering the ground, amazing light that glimmered through the trees, and, most importantly, a really awesome couple. They trekked through the park’s muddy trails, up steep hills, and sat in piles of leaves all so that I could find the best possible light. I often joke during my engagement sessions that it is normal to be nervous or feel awkward in front of the camera at first because it’s not typical to be followed around and photographed. I’m not sure if Danielle and Edward were previously on a reality TV show or if they practiced beforehand, but let me tell you they were absolutely comfortable in front of my lens. Seriously, complete naturals. I think it’s because when you really love someone, you want to smile, laugh, and kiss each and a camera doesn’t make a difference. Danielle and Edward were exactly that way- totally in love and happy to show it. I can’t wait to see more of that love on their wedding day, which I have a feeling will have just as many laughs and smiles.
