I don’t know too many people that are excited to work on a Friday night. Maybe I’m a big weirdo (most likely), but I couldn’t wait to spend the evening with Ally and Andy at Mellon Park for their engagement session. As planned, my Friday night turned out great and all the reasons have to do with Ally and Andy. Even though these two claimed they wouldn’t be able to pose well in front of the camera, they were complete naturals, and commanded the attention of both pups and their owners in Mellon and North Shore Parks.

Speaking of pups, it just wouldn’t be right if I described the day without mentioning one other important character: Pixie, the goldendoodle that was just excited about the day as all of us.  The image of a big white fluff ball running at full speed, bounding across Mellon Park in constant pursuit of a beat up rope ball makes me laugh even while writing this. Pixie definitely reflects the personality of her parents; she is sweet, loving, and a great time. Thank you, Ally and Andy, for an awesome Friday night of photography and for letting Abbey and I play with Pixie for a few hours.
