Loren and Jeff tied the knot in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia this past Saturday. After an intimate Catholic ceremony, we had our portrait session at Oglebay Park, which was simply stunning ( how many times do you get to take photos in front of a huge yellow mansion with beautiful gardens?) This wasn’t the first time we ventured into this beautiful park though. The first was for Loren and Jeff’s engagement photos in the midst of winter. The landscape was a tad bit greener than last time, but equally as beautiful. The reception took place at River City Aleworks in Wheeling, WV, and it acted as a fantastic space for a classy affair. The venue itself is an old brewery completely refurnished with exposed brick and killer wooden floors. Loren’s hard work was obvious in the intricate details of black and gold accents. I know how much time she spent preparing the space and I absolutely love how it turned out.

I always say that every wedding is unique and certain moments stand out to me at each one. One of these moments was during the Maid of Honor speech. Mallory, Loren’s younger sister, gave a speech full of laughs about how Jeff had to win her over in order to secure a relationship with her older sis. He succeeded with a box of Bagel Bites and eight years later continued to impress the sisters enough to marry Loren. The best part about this speech was that it was completely honest and true to the couple, and at one point Loren burst out laughing so hard that she couldn’t contain herself. I laughed to myself just editing the photos of her and Jeff’s candid reactions. This was just one moment out of an entire day of laughter, love, and family. Whether it was Loren getting ready with her girls and telling funny stories from the past or Jeff and his guys cracking jokes before the ceremony, everything about this wedding was honest and characteristic of the couple.

If you couldn’t already tell, I just loved everything about this wedding. Loren and Jeff, as well as their family and friends, were so kind and welcoming that it would be hard not to have a great time. They are seriously great people that deserve all of the Bagel Bites in the world.
