I already knew this wedding at Four Fillies Lodge was going to be a great one. I spent a weekend with Lauren and Zach last year for their engagement session. You can check out that session here. We hiked the hills of West Virginia and found ourselves looking at a spectacular sky as the day ended. Even with perfect conditions for shooting the best part was still these two. Two people that I now call friends and genuinely love being around. We sipped beers and had dinner afterwards and I knew I couldn’t wait until the wedding. Knowing people on this level makes experiencing a wedding from my perspective even more meaningful. I knew how much becoming husband and wife meant to them and was smiling almost as big as I captured images of them walking down the aisle after their ceremony along a babbling creek. This one checked off all the boxes. They have an exciting next couple weeks before their new adventure in SC. I can’t wait to see how the next part of their journey turns out!
